Duck Eggs - Dozen
Ducks are a recent addition to our farm and we can't imagine not having them waddling around the pastures. We eat duck eggs for breakfast just like regular eggs. However, duck eggs really steal the show in baking because they make baked items fluffier than chicken eggs. You will be amazed! Substitute one duck egg per chicken egg in the recipe, even though the duck eggs are slightly bigger. Due to the higher yolk ratio to egg white in duck eggs they contain more fat which in turn makes baked goods richer. Our flock’s free range diet is supplemented with organic, non-GMO feed and vegetables from the garden.
